1931 Waco QCF-2 Prototype NX11241 s/n 3453 (Standard Airworthiness Certificate)

This aircraft is the prototype for the Famous Waco QCF-2 and a one of a kind. This rare bird was first owned by Continental Engines who lovingly nicknamed her “Betsy”. She was purchased by well known Waco F-2 guru Marion “Curly” Havelaar in 1960 and was completely restored by Havelaar in the late 70's. She took reserve grand champion at EAA Air Venture in Oshkosh 1979. This is by far the lightest and best performing F-2 ever built.

1931 Waco QCF-2 NC17445 S/N 3496

This aircraft underwent a ground-up restoration by Pietsch Aircraft and was completed in May of 2005. She won Reserve Grand Champion Bartlesville Biplane Expo 2006

Although she originally came out of the Waco factory a QCF-2 she was restored to the specs of the more desirable UBF-2 with a larger vertical fin and rudder and later lower wing root design.

This pristine Waco has only 70 hrs total time since complete restoration. 70hrs SMOH w-670 220 Continental. Includes a beautiful 96 ½ “Curtiss-Reed prop. 115 mph cruise!!
